JUST SHARED THE BLOG WITH DAD....OPI

Thank you everyone for contributing to our wonderful "CANNON FAMILY BLOG"
I just spent the last hour showing DAD...OPI all the pictures and stories and comments. He loved looking at everything with me; a few tears and some laughs but lots of smiles!
I'm so grateful that we're such a loving family! Hugs to all of you from OPI.....he loves and needs all of us so much!

BIRTHDAY FUN AT CANNON BEACH!!!

IT WAS A DAY OF BIRTHDAY CELEBRATING: FEBRUARY 18th IS A VERY SPECIAL DAY IN OUR FAMILY..... HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY...OPI...MOM...and JAYLA!!!
OPI; turned 85 yrs. young... MELODY,MOM and GRAMMY turned 29 again (44)... and our sweet little JAYLA turned a big 9 yrs.old

OPI had fun walking barefoot in the freezing cold Oregon water....he enjoyed teasing us all a little and letting the sneaker waves get really close! He of course had some of that "yummy"ocean water to drink along with his sea weed...so he could hear all of his grandchildren giggle and say "ooohh yuck"...That's my wonderful Dad, still doing the same things he enjoyed doing when I was a little girl. I can so clearly remember just the two of us walking along cabrillo beach holding his hand!

Omi & Nielsens Jan 2008

Omi & Opi took a winter break in L.A. The Nielsens came to visit and I got to be there. Omi loved you all, all the time. I loved when I got to be there for the visits!

Little Isabelle: By Onkle Viktor

Fun Fun Fun. Little Isabelle, under the tree and by the pond, was the fun of Victor, Christine and Charles. We would make a circle and over time, she crawled, then walked, then ran to each of us, always laughing and always fun! I only remember 1 television before Melody came to us - it only lasted for a few months before we argued about the programs and father/Opi threw it away. So our main group entertainment was ISABELLE!!! PS that was the only new TV we got, afterward it was used TVs which would last a few months, then we argued, then Opi threw them away. This lasted until I went to college.
